Thoroughly enjoyable snipes and replies, but someone has neglected to mention that she, by one act, destigmatised aids, as well as bringing up her children in a way that has dragged the Monarchy, or future Monarchy, in to modern times.
She was also vey beautiful, which always helps.

I never went to the funeral I never cried out in a whaling manner on the streets of London as for some who did I like anyone else who is normal found ridiculous, but I did cry at one point watching the funeral on the TV .
As for mournPorn No that is absolute bollocks, However we may not understand it or belittle it over 1 million people lining the streets for Diana or them crying it was real not forced at all it was how those people felt at that moment in time and they did so from their own will unlike for some crazy Communist leader like dim jong un and his like.

Diana was only interested in self publicity. She was not too bright but was able to turn it on for the cameras. She was also a big part of the victims lobby. Her displays of public caring were as manufactured as they were transparent. You have to be a complete knob to buy into that.
After her death the UK acted out a scene from Evita where the song Oh What a Circus is sung. The mass hysteria and pnoney grief was quite an embarrassment to be honest.

Got up, went to Football, then went to the pub. Got home a had a kip, then went out for our normal Snooker night playing crash with a few mates and sinking a few pints!
Someone mentioned it during the day, but I didn't take any notice! Still don't.

The Royals are brilliant in a war situation Diana is more one on one she might ask a slightly persol question the high ranked royals would not as it would be deemed beneath them to do so.
You can say it's bollocks joe but I have watched a lot of reporting and news coverage over the years and that woman did things the Royal family simply cannot or did ,as I have said it is all documented she simply put connected.better with the vast majority.

It was a sunny morning and I'd left the house early to visit my mate Jaf who lived in Elm Park. I'd bought an eight of hash the night before and was keen to enjoy it.
We saw the news when I got round there and spent the whole day in shock sitting in the park smoking my hash. Very surreal experience

One thing that made me laugh was hearing that Diana nicknamed William and Harry 'my little killers' after the fact they enjoyed shooting animals so prolifically.
